January 2007 update: Message from the President

I want start by thanking everyone for the tremendous support for what will be the country's finest road racing Motorsports park. As many realize, there have been many delays. Simply put, we have been at the point of full funding three times and have not been able to close for a myriad of reasons. Despite these setbacks, this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and I am excited everyday that we will get this project started shortly. The delays have actually helped tremendously. As many know, I took the project and direction over completely in October of 2006. Although it was a good experience working with Tom Haley, there were many items that simply did not meet my original dream of what this facility would be. This has all been corrected. Supporters of the facility will now be able to keep up with track happenings through weekly updates in the news section. The result of all the work in the last few months has seen unanimous approval and endorsement of the refined strategies. Since October 2006, the following strategies have been completely overhauled:

• Track Design - Although the previous track design was a great process, there were several items that were not optimal. The new track design takes advantage of all of the terrain features provided within the beautiful 819-acre tract. Please browse our new designs and ENJOY the what the layout will offer.
• Paddock Design - Again, this was redesigned to ensure our track rental customers, members, teams, and commercial customers received something extraordinary.
• Land Plan/Development - A more concise land plan has been provided so that our potential developers can better quantify how to develop in a manner that is consistent with the Liberty Motorsports Park original "master-planned" concept. Anne Vickery has been tapped to represent the facility for all home and commercial sales.
• Financial Structuring - Simply put, our previous financial structure was difficult to commit to. This has been addressed and should ensure the start of construction shortly.
• Promotions - Terms and conditions have been agreed upon by our Nationally known promoter. A press release identifying this agreement will come shortly.
• Events - Terms and conditions for nationally televised events have been agreed upon. A press release identifying this agreement will come shortly.
• Investment - Over 50 different investment groups have been interviewed. These investors represented over 100($M) of potential investment capital. We are currently resuming discussions with many of these candidates as well as engaging new prospective investors. I feel very strongly that financing should be completed with the new structure(s) within 45 days.

As you can see, much has been accomplished with much work to do. Again, thank you to all in the local and national community that have supported this project in a manner that has ensured Liberty Motorsports Park will become a reality shortly.
